Hmmmmm

I just got done posting a bunch of new stuff in the store. Before I started all of this, I never really thought about haw difficult just posting an item for sale on the internet. It's not the putting it on the internet part that can be tricky. It's all the stuff you have to do before it gets posted. First you have to write a description that isn't super lame. Then you have to add tags to the listing. Then comes pricing. AND then you have to pick the pictures that show your product to the best advantage. It's all worth it though when you start seeing the number of people who have looked at the item you've worked so hard on go up.

The Problem with necklaces

So I'm having serious issues trying to design necklaces. It's not that I can't think of any designs, I can. I just can't think of anything that I would wear that I can make with what I already have on hand. And I have a LOT of stuff on hand. I really shouldn't be having any difficulty. I can come up with ideas for bracelets and earrings at the drop of a hat, but not necklaces for some reason.

Anywho, I just got a new anvil and chasing hammer and am super excited. I love beating things with a hammer for some odd reason....

New stuff!!!

My shipment of beads from limabeads.com was waiting for me yesterday when I got home from work! I love getting packages. Especially when they contain so many pretty things. I'm going to be busy working on new pieces for my shop this weekend! Actually until next Thursday because I get a random 5-day weekend. YAY ME!!! Anywho, I got some peach pit beads, which are really actual peach pits. I think they look almost exactly like little brains. I'm going to try painting them gray/pink (like an actual brain) and make them into earrings to sell in the shop for Halloween! I might even keep a pair for myself (they'll go well with my planned zombie costume. I have a truly bizarre obsession with them). I also got some great elongated Kambaba Jasper teardrops that I have all sorts or great plans for. MY FIRST BLOG!!!

Hi everyone! This is my first post on my very first blog! Any who, mostly this blog will be about my Esty shop (which you can find here http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=7759222) and my jewelry making.
